At packyourbags, we love travel and the outdoors, from the MD down to the fruit-juicer, we all have passion for getting outside and enjoying seeing the world.

We started far too long ago as a travel agent called Country Trails Travel on Mount Pleasant in Tunbridge Wells. And even though a few of us are a little greyer and (we like to think) a little wiser, we still uphold the traditional values of an outdoor specialist and travel agent - offering an unbiased service to our customers.

Matt Raynor, Manager

Matt runs the outdoor shop and busy internet sales department, looking after everything from the suppliers, buying and ordering stock for the seasons, shop design and layout to running our busy internet dispatch department. Oh, and keeping our postman on his toes!

Lee Walker, Accounts

Lee loves numbers, and spends most of his day looking at complex spreadsheets. He doesn't understand them, he just looks at them. His hobbies, if you can call them that, are reading, films, shooting some pool, football (watching), music (listening) and drinking (drinking). He is almost a bottomless pit of knowledge as long as it’s limited to 80’s films and 80’s T.V. theme tunes.

Mark Anderson, Web Developer

Mark is the backbone, kneebone, and left tibia of the website you're currently viewing. He works with in the technology department updating the site with new products and features using his voodoo programming skills. What Mark doesn't know about eCommerce isn't worth knowing, and if it is then he already knows it. Follow? His favourite food is pizza.

David Bevan, Finance Manager

David has worked at packyourbags for nearly 114 years, helping anyone with a financial problem or question. He enjoys working with numbers so much he once counted to 23,563,981 - but had to stop to enjoy a much needed packet of custard creams. Dave enjoys the odd bit of sport and, occasionally, a swift half down the local pub.

Thomas Kempster, Technical Director

When not playing with cables and computers, Tom has travelled in Russia, India and Nepal. He is an enthusiastic yet dangerous skier with a unique style, who is responsible for all the technological aspects of packyourbags, from hardware, software, connections and security and all ecommerce projects. His brother is...

Mark Kempster, Managing Director

Mark runs the whole she-bang. Or at least tries to keep us all in line! When he's not at work Mark loves the outdoors and has spent much time walking, climbing, mountaineering and anything else that doesn't involve purchase orders. Although the picture on the left would have you believe different, Mark is remarkably fit and has climbed, amongst others, the mighty Matterhorn.
