The Outback Classic hat is a highly versatile cotton twill hat offering all-round sun protection with it's wide brim, Hydro Cool crystals, Bug Off insect repellence, passport/security pocket and chin cord. The hat is also water and stain resistant.

Hydro Cool Crystals in the headband absorb water and then dry slowly to keep you noticeably cooler. By simply soaking the front section of the headband in water, the crystals will absorb and retain the water. Then put the hat on and you will feel the immediate cooling effect.

The hat contains a ‘hidden’ pocket in its crown, big enough to hold a passport or money.

These hats will help repel insects. They are treated with Bug Off which uses mentho glycol, one of the most effective natural insect repellents in the world today.

"I've owned my hat for just over a year now and it has proven an indespesable travelling companion both abroad and walking in the South Wales countryside. Last year I used it on holiday in Crete & on a voluntary trip to the slums of Bangalore, India where it proved a big hit with the street children! I fully intend wearing my faithful companion when I visit Kisii in Kenya later this year to help build a safehouse for orphans and street children-hope they like the hat too, I know I do!
