The Ryders Salty Dog Polar sunglasses, part of the Ryders Chill Polarised collection, feature low-profile, high-strength pinned hinges and polycarbonate lenses. These lenses provide 100% UV protection.

The polarised lens is designed to drastically reduce glare from snow, water, rock, pavement etc. As light hits a reflective surface, the waves change so they are all vibrating at the same angle as the surface. Horizontal surfaces reflect most of the glare that we encounter. For this reason Ryders polarised sunglasses contain vertically orientated polarizers which block out horizontal light waves while allowing vertical light waves to pass through.
