	eXomesh® Slashguard panels Many thefts succeed when the exposed lower section of bags are slashed allowing contents to drop out without the victim being aware that a theft has taken place. Pacsafe have developed slashproof panels by discretely hiding a layer of eXomesh® between two layers of fabric. These lightweight slashguards are placed in vulnerable sections of the bag, giving protection against a bag slasher’s knives and blades.
	Slashproof belts / straps / cables A split second while looking at a map or asking for directions is all it takes to cut through a conventional strap or belt. To ensure your bag stays with you, Pacsafe belts and straps are embedded with slashproof, high-tensile stainless steel wire. All Pacsafe securing cables are made from heavy duty steel wire.
	Snatchproof anchor clips / locks When travelling, commuting or out with friends enjoying a meal or drink, you’re not always able to keep a close eye on your belongings. In an instant, someone can take your bag without you knowing. That’s why Pacsafe have designed products with snatchproof metal clips on slashproof belts, straps, cables or chains. These can be unfastened at one end allowing you to loop and anchor your bag to any secure fixture such as the arm of your restaurant chair, bus seat or poolside lounger. For extra security Pacsafe have designed products which offer an additional snatchproof locking system. "I bought the Pacsafe TourSafe Petite Anti-theft handbag for a trip to Vietnam as i wanted a bag which was light and took the bare minimum i.e. water, purse, camera, guide book and sun lotion. This did the job very well. It survived the trip and gave me peace of mind - the lockable zip would be very difficult for a thief to open without alerting the bag owner. The zipped compartments inside blend in well with the lining of the bag making it difficult for a thief to open even if they did manage to get past the locked zip. The outside pockets are useful for storing pens tissues and sun tan lotion - stuff that you want to get at quickly but are not particularly valuable. There are various places inside the bag which can be used to chain purses or keys to which I always like to do. I bought it in red (a sort of orangey red - nice colour). I liked the fact that the bag dried out quickly after being soaked in a Vietnamese rain storm and the stains from spilt drinks and greasy food went after a wipe with a soapy cloth when I got home. The only negative I found was that the strap is not really long enough for wearing across the body so i added a chain to the end of it (the bit that fits inside the bottom of the bag) and now it is the perfect length for me. All in all this is a good bag to use on a daily basis. I am now looking to buy the slightly larger City Safe 200 bag for when I need to take more stuff with me and want to carry a handbag rather than a shoulder type A4 bag."
