"Having lost my old and much used Leatherman I had to replace it. It had to be another Leatherman and the Surge design had all I could want in a multitool. "I have recently purchased this tool fomr Packyourbags and thanks for giving me the opportunity to review it. I had a Leatherman Wave, which I have had for about 4 years and it still works great. My younger brother wanted it so I though time to get a new Leatherman. Aside from all the useful tools it has great build quality the knives and clippes retract without any problems and the update to the pliers mechanism is really intuitive. Obviously the bottle opener is a great addtion over my last Wave. All in all a great tool, ideal for those in either the military, boating, sailing, fishing or just as a general house handy tool.
