"I have been wearing the Icebreaker Bodyfit 200 Mondo Zip during this recent cold spell, while out walking in the cold on the hills and around a badly heated office ! Its ideal and intended to be worn next to the skin as part of your layer system for keeping warm. The fit is close to the skin and leaves you feeling snug in the cold. The Merino Wool comes from the sheep in Southern New Zealand where the climate can be very harsh and the innovative idea of if it works to keep the sheep alive then it will keep us warm - this really does work. The top is also breathable which means that during and after exercise you are not left with sweat on your skin or in the top (an important factor in avoiding feeling cold). Icebreaker products are not the cheapest on the market and I have worn other thermal underwear that is cheaper but this is one of those things that if you want something that is good and does the job then you have to pay for it. The Icebreaker Bodyfit 200 Mondo Zip top is made to a high standard and having worn it / washed it a lot (in a normal washing machine) over the last 3 months it still looks as good as new.
