A temporary lock suitable for locking your hotel door!
Introducing a portable and universal door lock with a difference - a simple lock for use by all, be it at home, the workplace or on holiday.

Whenever a degree of privacy or security is required, e.g. hotels, hostels, offices and student accommodation; you are not likely to find a more user-friendly lock to suit your purpose.

The How Sar Lock is made of two simple parts connected by a flexible tie - a slotted receiver and a curved wedge. The receiver fits into the recess in the door frame, where the latch fits. This locates between the door and frame when the door is closed. The curved wedge then slides into the slot in the receiver thus locking the receiver in position and preventing the door from opening.

To open the door simply slide the curved hook out of the hole in the plate and open the door.

"Great idea but needs to be made stronger. Any type of weight or shoving of the door snaps the lock. Do not use this lock if you want any type of security! Should be advertised as a means of securing a room for children. Any adult can just push the door hard and it snaps. very disappointed!!" Would you recommend this product: No

"Neat idea, but if the door latch has a projecting flange on the striker plate it can't be used at all. Much better get one with a ratchet mechanism that will work on all doors, such as Catch 22 Walkeasy Doorguard. Heavier, but it works." Would you recommend this product: No

"This door lock is great addition to anyones travel essentials. It is made from strong Nylon so it can be carried in your hand luggage. It is so easy to use and really does work. I work in Kazakhstan and stay in hotels for each one month rotation. It stops the door being opened while you are in your room. Eiher by service staff or by univited visitors.
