"I bought two of these just before I emigrated to the USA and I have to say that they are great. You can use them in the American two or three pin outlets. The earth pin can be pulled out for three pin earthed outlets, but also pushed back in to use in two pin ones. My only regret is that I didn't buy more as I shipped most of my electrical equipment with me. Excellent value for money and ideal for holidays or moving to the US. "
