The men's Care Plus Bugsox Adventure Socks have Healthguard treatment which keeps mosquitoes and ticks away. The socks are technical, seamless and are ideal for walking and hiking in all kinds of terrain.

The inclusion of Coolmax ensures that the foot stays dry and comfortable and so reducing the risk of blisters. Your foot remains clean and fresh thanks to the use of natural bamboo yarn that has a natural antibacterial effect.

COOLMAX® is a high-tech fibre which has been specially developed for dry and comfortable wear. This fibre transports the moisture away from the skin to the outside layer of the sock where it can evaporate quickly.

How Healthguard™ works
The Care Plus® Bugsox are impregnated with HealthGuard™ Vital Protection - a revolutionary insect-resistant product with prolonged effect that prevents annoying, itching insect bites and even prevents serious illnesses. Vital Protection doesn't irritate and it is biologically degradable. It also protects the treated products against bacteria and as such prevents odours, discolouring and degrading. Tests with HealthGuard™ Vital Protection AM1 have shown the following results:

• 45% fewer landings of mosquitoes
• 80-90% fewer actual insect bites
• 90% effective against blood-sucking insects
