"I bought the women's brasher supalite boots because they seemed to be very comfortable. They certainly are. The downside is that the grip is bad, it is fine on the mountain (rock, grass, muck), but I have already slipped on wet concrete and even on damp tiles inside a house! My runners have better grip! And they are not fully waterproof. After the first hike on these boots on a wet Kerry mountain my socks got wet. I must add that we were walking in rain for about 3 hours. I am still glad I bought them as they are extremely comfortable. My feet don't seem to get tired at all. It doesn't bother me that they aren't 100 % waterproof but I really hope that Brasher will start using better material for the soles. If not, I won't buy Brashers again." "I've owned my first pair of the Ladies Brasher Supalite GTX for 7 yrs. They've traveled the world, did archaeology, hiked and dug gardens. After 6 years the leather uppers started to deteriorate, so I bought an expensive replacement brand here in U.S. Big mistake. I'm ordering another pair of the Supalites. They're worth it." "I have found these boots brilliant.Very comfortable instantly and was able to walk up steep and uneven tracks for many hours without any problems.Their waterproof quality is excellent.The only slight criticism I have is that the grip was not as good I as I would like on wet stone and wooden bridges.I will be using these on an impending trek in the Himalyas."
